Disclaimer

This Disclaimer applies to your use of the bookmi platform (the “Platform”), operated by VABERACO BOOKMI TECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“bookmi”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Payments, recharges, withdrawals & payouts

The following clauses govern how money moves on the Platform. All percentages are of the relevant transaction amount, and Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate (currently 18%) is charged in addition to each fee (exclusive) and shown as a separate line.

6.1 Payout (7-day). Approved earnings credit to the Earner’s bookmi wallet on proof approval; on a valid withdrawal request, funds reach the registered bank/UPI within 7 (seven) days of approval, subject to KYC + admin approval.

6.2 Recharge (7.5%). A platform convenience fee of 7.5% is levied on every wallet recharge, plus applicable GST (18%, exclusive — shown as a separate line).

6.3 Withdrawal (3.5%). A processing fee of 3.5% is deducted from each withdrawal amount, plus applicable GST (18%, exclusive).

For task posting, the Business funds a 12% platform fee plus 18% GST on that fee at task release, and the Earner nets the full task budget. Convenience, platform and processing fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy or as required by law.

No guarantee of tasks or earnings

bookmi is a marketplace intermediary. We do not guarantee that any tasks will be available, that an Earner will be assigned, selected or paid, or that an Earner will achieve any particular level of earnings. Any figures, examples or estimates shown anywhere on the Platform are illustrative only and are not a promise of income. Earnings depend on factors outside our control, including the availability of tasks posted by Businesses, competition, and the quality and timeliness of work performed.

Third-party payment processor (Razorpay)

Payments, recharges and payouts are processed by Razorpay and the banking and UPI networks, which are independent third parties. bookmi does not control and is not responsible for the availability, timing, accuracy or security of these third-party services, or for delays, declines, holds or failures caused by them, your bank, the UPI network or incorrect details you provide. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies. Where a payout depends on a third party, the 7 (seven) day timeline runs from bookmi’s approval and is subject to those third parties’ own processing times.

Platform provided “as is”

The Platform and all content and features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. bookmi does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that defects will be corrected. bookmi is not a party to, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or outcome of, any task or any dealing between a Business and an Earner.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in this Disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that, bookmi’s liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
